Q Dog
Q at 13
Q came to live with us when she was just 4 months old. She is half Rat Terrier, and half Shih Tzu/Yorkie, so she is an interesting mix of physical traits. She looks very much like a rough coat Jack Russell.
Her name comes from her ability, noted from the first evening at our house, to move from place to place so quickly that she appears to beam herself across the room. Thus, we could not resist the reference to the Star Trek character named Q, with a similar ability. Even at age 14, she still retains this ability!
She is a wonderfully warm, affectionate dog with remarkable intelligence. We hope she will be with us for many more years!
